How Trenkwalder rebuilt its AWS platform, and put automation to work on the paperwork
Trenkwalder is a multinational HR and staffing group, with IT consolidated under its Slovakia center and operations across 13+ European countries. They rebuilt their AWS platform with allOps.
At the end of the project, they had governed multi-account delivery, automated releases that moved from several per week to several per day, and an AI-based solution that turns handwritten time sheets into structured data across markets.

Trenkwalder is a multinational HR and staffing group with its group IT center in Slovakia and a distributed engineering team across Slovakia, Serbia and Germany, operating in 13+ European countries.
Challenge
The group ran business-critical workloads on AWS, including a corporate platform and an AI recruitment product.
However, releases were manual and tightly coupled to individual engineers, governance was thin, and legacy on-prem services were becoming blockers for integration and reporting.
Trenkwalder needed a partner who could rebuild the platform properly and stay responsive to a fast-moving engineering team.

Governed delivery
Repository management moved from GitLab and AWS CodeCommit to GitHub, with GitHub Actions on AWS runners for cost efficiency, standardised repository structures and centralised permissions, and releases shifted from branches to tags by business requirement.
Reliability and visibility
Monitoring intensified on Amazon CloudWatch with embedded metric formats so developers can see system health; disaster recovery prioritised availability-zone extension with deliberate scenario testing.

For a staffing business, time sheets are critical and often arrive as unstructured, even handwritten data. allOps built an AI-based solution that parses them into structured digital data, replacing manual entry across multiple countries.
